Invite friends

Updated 2026-10-02 · Applies to: iPhoneAndroidWeb

Your lasting invite link, how someone accepts it, and when promotional gifts apply.

Invite friends

Every member has a personal invite link. It does not expire when a gift promotion ends. A new or existing member can accept it to connect their account to yours as their inviter. Each member can have only one inviter.

In the app, open Settings → Money → Invite friends. You'll see your link, with Copy link and Share link. The screen shows link opens, accepted invitations, verified members and rewards. Link opens include repeat visits; they are not unique people. It also lists the members who accepted your invitation.

There's nothing to type. Open your friend's link: if you have Tubaar it opens in the app, and if you don't, install it from the store button on the page. Tubaar, in the app or on the site, tells you straight away whether the link is valid.

If you already have an account, open the link and tap Accept invitation. If you're new, continue to sign up through the link. Accepting is permanent: you cannot change your inviter later. You cannot accept your own link or one from your own device. If an inviter's account is unavailable, their link cannot be accepted until that account is restored.

Welcome gifts

While the gift promotion is running, eligible new members receive a welcome gift from Tubaar. A new member who accepts a friend's link during sign-up or within the first 72 hours can receive an extra gift, and the inviter can receive a gift when that member's gifts unlock. An established member can still accept the invitation, but this does not create a new-signup gift for either person. Ending the promotion stops new gift offers; it does not expire invite links or remove existing inviter relationships.

If you receive a gift, a card tells you what Tubaar sent. In your Wallet, history shows Gift from Tubaar, and later Gift unlocked or Gift expired. The gifts themselves can change; the app shows the current offer.

When gifts unlock

Welcome gifts arrive locked. Your Wallet shows Locked with the date they unlock, and How to unlock shows what's left to do. Locked Baars can't be sent to anyone or cashed out yet. They unlock once your account meets all of these:

  • it is at least 30 days old;
  • your phone number is verified;
  • it is in good standing: not banned, paused or being deleted;
  • you've been active on Tubaar on at least 5 different days.

When they unlock, they become ordinary earned Baars; see Baar — what it is and how it works. If an account never meets these conditions, its locked gifts expire 120 days after sign-up and return to Tubaar.

If you try to send a gift, unlock a Saga episode or enter a paid live with Baars that are still locked, Tubaar tells you your gift Baars are still locked rather than that you don't have enough. You'll only see "not enough Baars" if you'd be short even counting the locked ones.

One per person

  • One welcome gift per verified phone number.
  • One invite gift per phone number and per device.
  • You can't use your own link, on another account, phone or device you use, or with your own payout account.
  • An inviter is rewarded for a limited number of new members each month.

Accounts created to collect gifts, and gifts obtained against these rules, can be cancelled. Tubaar may change or end the welcome and invite program at any time. See the Terms of Service.
