Earning on Tubaar

Eligible creators may receive earned Baars when people choose to support their work or pay for selected content. Only eligible earned Baars can be requested for cash-out; purchased Baars cannot. Views, followers and uploads do not guarantee income.

Gifts

Viewers can choose to send a gift on an eligible video or live. The gift and its Baar amount are shown before it is sent. A gift is optional and does not promise future earnings. Any creator can receive gifts: no verification or paid plan is needed.

Gifts on videos and posts have limits, set by the receiving creator's current plan. Each member can gift a creator once every rolling 30 days (twice for Premium creators), and each gift has a maximum:

The limit is per creator: gifting one creator doesn't use up what you can send anyone else. A gift of several copies counts as one gift, but all its copies add up towards the maximum: 10 copies of a 100-Baar gift is a 1,000-Baar gift.

The gift sheet shows how many gifts you have left for that creator and the largest gift you can send. Once you've used them, it shows when you can gift that creator again, 30 days after the gift that's ageing out. A gift that is still processing holds its place until it completes or fails; in that case the date shown is approximate.

Gifts in a live are not limited this way. These values can change; the gift sheet applies the current ones. One-time Support follows its own rules (below).

One-time Support

Support is a one-time Baar contribution, not a monthly subscription. The platform minimum is 30 Baars; a creator may set a higher minimum within the permitted range. The receiving creator's current plan controls the amount and frequency a supporter can give during a rolling 30-day period:

Support currently requires an eligible, verified creator on Lite or above, with Support enabled. These limits can be updated; the amount and availability shown in Tubaar apply. See Creator support.

Creator Circles

A Circle is included in a member's paid plan, with no extra charge and no Baar debit. Members use their plan to Circle creators, within the plan's slot limit. On each successfully paid plan renewal, Tubaar grants 12 Baars to each creator the member actively Circles. See Creator Circles.

Sagas

Every Saga begins with a free run of episodes. The Studio enforces its current minimum free opening (three episodes in the default configuration); producers may offer more or make the whole Saga free. They may charge for later episodes or a pass. The player shows access and price before a viewer chooses to pay. See Sagas.

Paid lives

A host may set an entry price. A viewer is charged when they first join a paid live. If the live ends within 10 minutes of live time after that charge, the viewer is refunded in full; otherwise the Baars go to the host. See Paid lives. The terms and Baar amount are shown in Tubaar. A paid live does not guarantee an audience or income.

Music royalties

Tubaar may distribute a monthly pool among artists' Tubaar accounts for tracks with a confirmed credited artist, based on qualifying listens. The royalty is credited to the account of the artist attached to the track, not automatically divided among everyone who may hold rights. Eligibility and listening rules apply, and no per-play rate or payment is guaranteed.

Seeing what you have earned

Your wallet separates earned from purchased Baars and shows the available balance and transaction details. Eligible earned Baars can be cashed out at 50% of face value. Payouts currently go only to Mobile Money in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and are sent by hand after review. The minimum payout is $20, and 100 earned Baars must stay in your account; the wallet shows the current figures. See Cashing out.
